I wanted to have a go at doing probate myself but did not have the confidence to go it alone. This platform was the perfect compromise and saved us thousands in Solicitors fees. I then printed and submitted the probate forms to HM Courts. It took 9 days to receive an approval email and the Certificate of Probate arrived in the post the next day. Using your forms was really straightforward and you were on hand on the phone to help with any if our questions. The IHT calculation on IHT400 was straightforward and accepted by HMRC within 2 weeks. After then printing off and submitting your forms the probate accepted within 10 days!! Fantastic service.

The YouCanDoProbate system is very cost effective, comprehensive and relatively easy to use. Most of the steps through filling in the inheritance tax forms and the probate application are straightforward. Any queries can be raised and are quickly and professionally dealt with. So glad I chose this route as opposed to using a solicitor.

I HIGHLY recommend the platform for anyone wanting to save solicitors fees and who wants to apply themselves. £325 gives you an easy to use platform that asks questions that are easy to understand. It is intuitive to use and red flags you if there is anything missing. Support is 1st class, sent an email question on a Sunday afternoon and had a reply 2 hours later! YCDP cuts out large parts of the probate forms that do not apply to your own application….My application was straightforward and the actual time i took on the YCDP platform was probably 30 mins. Quotes from solicitors were £2k to £3k JUST to fill out the forms, bear in mind that you have to provide the solicitors with all the details. Brilliant service – Easy to use.
