I cannot say enough by way of thanks to this company. I was helped numerous times either by email or by booking a 'call back' and nothing seemed too much trouble. I could not have completed this application for probate without their assistance that's for sure. What they say is so true - you have to supply a Solicitor with the information they need to complete the application so why not use YouCanDoProbate for a fraction of the Solicitor's cost and do it yourself! This is a brilliant piece of software. Very easy to use and intuative and, makes the daunting task of applying for a Grant of Probate easy for anyone who can use a computer. It makes using a solicitor for this task completely redundant. Also, the on line help is excellent as you can actually speak to a human.

I am so glad that I chose to invest in this software. It is a simple tool which guides you through the process in a very clear way. Firstly you can input the required information about the estate (which you would have to collate and provide to a solicitor anyway) and it then determines which forms need to be populated to apply for probate (and inheritance tax), and populates them correctly. It has saved us a lot of time and money . The customer support team are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, and easy to get hold of. Thank you for making this a smooth process at a difficult time. Our grant of probate was received today which was only 5-6 weeks after receipt of the application by the probate office at a time where the probate office are quoting 8 week lead times to acknowledge probate application receipt.

YCDP is excellent. As an 80 year old with very basic and fairly rubbish IT skills I was a bit apprehensive but found the process straight forward and easy to understand. What can I say. Site was self explanatory and easy to use. Fortunately I had all the necessary documentation which gave me a smooth ride through the forms. Probably saved us £10k of solicitors fees. I had one query about one of the sections so raised that and somebody called me within 30mins and everything was explained simply. If you are dealing with a simple estate, as was mine (just one property and Bank Accounts) it's a fantastic option to use. Highly recommended. Grant

Doing probate is pretty complicated and I found YCDProbate simplified the procedure. Moreover, if you follow the process right through (take your time!) you can be very confident you have not missed anything of importance. Now here's the best part: if you have questions, they really will be answered within 24-48 hours, and answered well. Go for it.

I wanted to do the probate but......
I wanted to do the probate after my wife passed away but amassing the information and filling out the form I found difficult. I purchased YCDP and found that after I had answered various groups of questions and given relevant figures the form was produced correctly made out. Yes there was a cost but nowhere near the cost of hiring a solicitor.
